Dessert Quesadilla Recipes





Dessert quesadillas are a fun and easy treat. It is a great way to end a Mexican themed meal. A typical quesadilla consist of flour or corn tortillas filled with a combination of cheeses, vegetables, and/or chicken. These dessert quesadillas are tortillas filled with sweet ingredients and served with a scoop of ice cream.


S’mores Quesadilla Recipe
Makes 1 whole quesadilla that is cut into 4

Ingredients:

2 tortillas of your choice (flour or corn)
5 marshmallows
1 regular size chocolate bar
Butter (about 2 teaspoons)
Sugar (just enough to sprinkle over tortilla)

Directions:

1. Break up the chocolate bar in a few pieces and arrange on one tortilla.
2. Cut each marshmallow in half and spread out over the chocolate.
3. Top with the remaining tortilla.
4. Spread a little bit of butter on the tortilla.
5. Sprinkle with sugar.
6. Broil on a grill or in the oven for 2 minutes.
7. Flip over.
8. Spread a little bit more butter on the opposite side and sprinkle with additional sugar.
9. Broil for 2 more minutes.
10. Cut into 4.
11. Optional: Serve with ice cream.


Chocolate and Banana Quesadilla
Makes 1 whole quesadilla that is cut into 4

Ingredients:

2 tortillas of your choice (flour or corn)
1 banana
4 tablespoons of chocolate spread (such as Hershey’s Chocolate Spread or Nutella chocolate and hazelnut spread)
Butter (about 2 teaspoons)
Sugar (just enough to sprinkle over tortilla)

Directions:

1. Spread the chocolate spread over one tortilla.
2. Cut the banana into small slices and arrange over the chocolate.
3. Top with the remaining tortilla.
4. Spread a little bit of butter on the tortilla.
5. Sprinkle with sugar.
6. Broil on a grill or in the oven for 2 minutes.
7. Flip over.
8. Spread a little bit more butter on the opposite side and sprinkle with additional sugar.
9. Broil for 2 more minutes.
10. Cut into 4.
11. Optional: Serve with ice cream.
